Truth be told; this will enter the history books as the Festival that attracted a record number of sponsors across different sectors.
For the first time in the history of the National Sports Festival no fewer than 14 top brands have lined up for the festival with players from the oil and gas industry dominating the field.
sportbusinessbrand.com’s findings reveal that a mixture of multinationals and indigenous brands across seven sectors have ensured the festival meets the status of an international event with sponsorship.
Interestingly, indigenous sponsors have maximized this opportunity to step on the platform.
One of the benefits of sponsoring the National Sports Festival is brand awareness and latest banking brand, Premium Trust Bank, is mining this to make a splash in the country.
