Innovative football club brand, Vandrezzer, has established its presence in Osun State, as it seeks to enhance brand identity and grow a global fan base.

Vandrezzer is targeting millennials using digital media and is the first Nigerian club on TikTok.

 

Since its formation in 2019, VFC, fondly called “Lions of Naija,” has deployed pioneering marketing communication strategies to emerge as the fastest growing football club brand in the country.

According to the club’s website; vandrezzerfc.com: “Our global network of branches stretches from Nigeria to the United Kingdom, with five new branches being welcomed into the Official Supporters Club last season.”

Vandrezzer recently launched a branch in Osun State, South West Nigeria to continue its brand building strategy aimed at connecting communities.

Tweeting from its official tweeter account, on Friday, the club said: “Introducing VFC Osun Chapter! Our Osun Chapter has become the first activated globally. Led by our 2020/21 fan of the year, Goboze Samuel Jesuyon, we can confirm today that the chapter has successfully completed our requirements and have been fully activated on our platform. The Osun Chapter currently has 30 members.”

VFC branches already exist in Lagos and Akwa Ibom States.

 

The Akwa Ibom Chapter, led by George Victor, currently has 50 members.
