Quartet in Prosperity Cup Semi-Finals chase Premium Trust Bank’s N10m jackpot

The quartet of Eternal Grace Ministries, Bayelsa United Feeders, Youbolobo and Krusaders will continue their semi-final battle in Nigeria’s biggest grassroots football tournament, the Bayelsa Governor’s Cup, as the race for the N10million jackpot in the men’s category continues, on Thursday.

Sponsored by Nigeria’s fastest growing bank, Premium Trust Bank, the prize money has been increased to boost its value as the most prestigious grassroots tournament in the country.

Interestingly, it is the business end of the competition, otherwise called Prosperity Cup that kicked off with 231 teams and now down to just four.

Premium Trust Bank dedication to youth empowerment has enabled youths to be gainfully engaged with the Prosperity Cup.

The duo of Youbolobo and Krusaders, who competed at the Ekeremor Local Government Finals, are in the last four.

EGM edged Professor Nimibofa Ayawei 1-0, while Bayelsa Feeders also defeated Movers FC of Otuasega 1-0.

Youbolobo depended on penalties to eliminate Advanced Dreams, while Krusaders stopped hard fighting CitiBoi FC 1-0.
