After the long transfer drama, Super Eagles striker, Umar Sadiq, has completed his transfer to LaLiga rivals, Real Sociedad from Almeria.
Sadiq arrived Almeria from Partizan Belgrade in 2020 and leaves the Power Horse Stadium a club legend after scoring 40 goals in 79 matches over two years.
After medicals on Thursday, Sadiq signed a five-year contract at San Sebastian to become the second Nigerian to play for the club after former Nigerian International, Mutiu Adepoju.
Sadiq will wear number 25 jersey at Sociedad.
With two LaLiga goals at Almeria, the Nigeria is set for his Sociedad debut in Saturday’s home game against Atletico Madrid.
