President Tinubu to host Super Falcons on Monday

 

Following the victory of the Super Falcons at the just concluded Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), the Nigeria Football Federation has revealed that His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) is scheduled to host the team at the Presidential Villa on Monday afternoon.

sportsbusinessbrand.com reliably gathered that the team will receive national honours for boosting the image of the country at the international scene.

The Super Falcons will become the second national team to be hosted by President Tinubu after the Super Eagles visit following the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where Nigeria lost to Core d’Ivoire, in the finals.

According to the NFF, the team will arrive in Nigeria by noon on Monday and will embark on a trophy parade in Abuja.

Nigeria came back from a two-goal deficit to defeat host Morocco 3-2 in Saturday’s night’s final match to set a record 10th African title.
