Liverpool FC, The Coca-Cola Company extend multi-year collaboration

sportbusinessbrand.com understands that Premier League side, Liverpool FC and The Coca-Cola Company, have extended their partnership which now expands to the Women’s team.

Since both brands kicked off their collaboration in 2020, they have collaborated on a range of exciting fan-focused activations – from exclusive experiences and rewards to digital campaigns that celebrate the club’s global fan base.

The partnership has also produced standout moments such as Christmas Carpool, which achieved some of the highest fan engagement for branded content across the club’s digital channels.

Speaking on the extension, LFC’s chief commercial officer, Ben Latty said: “We’re thrilled to be extending our partnership with Coca-Cola, with a continued focus on enhancing the matchday experience at Anfield and expanding their support for LFC Women.

“Coca-Cola has helped us deliver some brilliant campaigns over the past few years, from unforgettable matchday activations to community-driven initiatives through LFC Foundation. With this renewed agreement, we’re looking forward to creating even more moments that celebrate both our men’s and women’s teams.”

Coca-Cola’s president of marketing, Europe, Javier Meza, applauded the brand’s decision to deepen its relationship with the Premier League champions.

According to Meza: “Liverpool Football Club stands as one of the most storied and influential clubs in world football, with a historical legacy and a passionate global fan base. We’re excited to continue sharing moments of refreshment and enjoyment with fans through our partnership with the club.”

Coca-Cola’s partnership with LFC continues its rich heritage of supporting football at every level – from grassroots to global tournaments – and complements Coca-Cola’s ongoing league-wide agreement with the Premier League.

LFC and Coca-Cola will continue developing engaging experiences that bring fans even closer to the club and inspire memorable moments for Reds supporters.

Coca-Cola will also continue to have pouring rights across its full portfolio of much-loved beverages, ensuring supporters can enjoy their favourite drinks on matchdays at Anfield and at club events.
