Managing Director of Premium Trust Bank, Mr. Emmanuel Emefienim has informed leading sports business reporter, Ojeikere Aikhoje, that the bank is ready for the next National Sports Festival, to be hosted by Enugu State.
Emefienim revealed this to Aikhoje in a recent interview, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
“We are just back from the Gateway Games National Sports Festival, in Ogun State and now discussing with the next host, Enugu State.
“Our involvement is more of CSR. We are big when it comes to sports and this goes beyond brand awareness. It is expensive but we are giving back to the society to support what government is doing”, he said to Aikhoje.
In addition, he said: “It is important to engage our youths through sports. It’s something we are passionate about. We want them to discover their talents and be the best. It’s important to encourage our youths through sports.”
On Tuesday, Emefienim was in Enugu State with Director General of the National Sports Commission, Bukola Olopade, to finalise the deal as the bank’s contribution to national development.
