Both parties signed an initial deal, in February 2022.

With an initial one-year deal, the bank which has made an instant impact in the banking industry, is ready for an extended romance with the new club.
Last season, Lotus Bank’s name and logo was on their jerseys and website, which created brand awareness for the new bank.
The feat made Ikorodu City one of the few Nigeria National League sides with
shirt sponsors in the league.
A rare feat for a club in its first season.
Ahead of the new season, the club has named Sadiq Dabiri and Bright Ozebagbe, as head coach and assistant respectively.
Lotus Bank got its licence to operate on May 25, 2021 and started
operations July 7, 2021.
