Simba confirms Chino Kidd for Simba Day 2025

 

Tanzanian dancer and musician, Chino Kidd (whose real name is Isaya Michael Mtambo), has been confirmed for the Simba Day 2025 celebrations organised by Simba Sports Club.

Organised since 2011, Simba Day, is a Simba Day is deliberately packaged as an entertainment spectacle that converts into brand equity.

Simba confirmed Kidd’s presence via their Official X Handle on Thursday.

Kidd is well known for blending Amapiano, Bongo Flava, and Afrobeat genres.

Over the years, Simba Day has developed into a huge cultural event that has blended entertainment and business in a way that keeps fans and sponsors engaged. It is a celebration of Tanzanian culture and music.

Traditionally, Simba Day is used to unveil the club’s new players and a pre-season match against invited opposition.

Kenya’s most successful team, Gor Mahia, will be guests of Simba, on Wednesday, September 10.
