
Multi-functional holding company, Stafolga Group, has thrown its weight behind Kwara State Football Association Cup after announcing its first ever sponsorship worth N50million,
With interests in oil and gas, engineering, real estate and media, Stafolga, has now turned to football to enhance the quality o the competition.
Speaking at the event, the chairman of Stafolga and Flow FM, Engr Femi Sanni commended the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the FA leadership, and participating teams for their commitment to football development.
He described the sponsorship as “just the beginning of many more goodies to come,” assuring stakeholders of sustained support for the growth of the game.
In his remarks, the chairman of the Kwara FA, Mal. Idris Thuraya praised Sanni for his pivotal role in the recent successes recorded in the state’s football ecosystem.
He specifically credited him as being instrumental to President Federation Cup 2025 triumph by Kwara United FC, as well as his contributions to the ongoing renovation of the Main Bowl of the state stadium.
Stafolga operates in Ilorin, Abuja and Canada.
The finals are slated for April 26, 2026, at the main bowl of the Kwara State Stadium, with the women’s final to be played ahead of the men’s final.
