Sterling Bank has extended its front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Nigeria Premier Football League side, Bendel Insurance.
Both parties signed the biggest shirt deal in Nigerian history last season (2021/22) when the bank paid N50million as the club campaigned in the second tier, Nigeria National League.
The deal was for a season.
On the opening day of the NPFL season at Akwa United, the Benin-City based side had Sterling’s logo on their shirt to confirm the brand’s continued deal.
It was a good return to top flight business as Insurance claimed a famous 2-0 win on the road against all expectations.
However, both parties haven’t made any announcement about the new deal.
