AS Roma CEO, Lina Souloukou
Italian side, AS Roma, has announced the appointment of former Olympakos CEO, Lina Souloukou, as its new Chief Executive Officer & General Manager of the Club.
Souloukou takes over from Pietro Berardi, who left the club, on Monday.
According to the club’s website: Souloukou resumes immediately, after completing the requisite formalities.
“Lina is an experienced, respected and trusted leader in both football and business and we are delighted to welcome her into the AS Roma family”, said Dan and Ryan Friedkin, who run the club as President and Vice Chairman, respectively.
“We will work closely with her to continue building the Club to the highest level, deserving of both the Giallorossi fans and the City”, they said.
Background
After studying Law specializing in Sports Law, she began her career in football where she has been working for over 15 years.
In 2018 she was appointed CEO of Olympiacos FC, a role she held until June 2022 and in 2019, she was appointed as a member of ECA’s Executive Board, a position that she still holds today.
