London based Premier League side, Chelsea has become the first team to win the newly expanded FIFA Club World Cup, after defeating Champions League winner, Paris Saint-Germain, 3-0, in the final match at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday.

US President, Donald Trump, presented the trophy to Chelsea at the well attended final that included half time shows for the first time in FIFA history, as the stadium was transformed into a major concert-scale experience.
Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer, Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems, made history as one of the musicians who performed at the event.

PSG was the big favorite to add the world title to its European crown, but Chelsea had other ideas. It was a near-perfect performance from the Premier League team — racing to a 3-0 halftime lead and it could have added more in the second half.
It was a big win for Chelsea, winner of Europe’s third tier club competition, Europa Conference League champions.
