Lekki United announce sponsorship with Nigeria’s premier betting brand, NairaBET

Nigeria’s third tier side, Lekki United, which campaigns in the Nigeria National League has announced a new sponsorship deal with Nigeria’s premier betting brand, nairabet, sportbusinessbrand.com can report.

Owned by avid football fan and Federal House of Representatives Member, Oloye Akin Alabi, Lekki United was founded in 2022.

 

“The club is delighted to announce that it has secured a shirt partnership deal with Sports betting giant, @NairaBET”, it tweeted via its Official Twitter Handle, @LekkiUnitedFC.

NairaBET’s sponsorship makes Lekki United one of the few clubs with shirt sponsorship in the country.

Interestingly, the club started the 2022/23 season with NairaBET on a good note with a 2-1 home win over Ablaze FC, shortly after the announcement on Wednesday.

 

As one of the most recognizable brands in the country and a pioneer in strategic sporting partnerships, NairaBET brings strong attraction to the young club.

NairaBET is not new to shirt sponsorship in Nigeria’s football industry after its previous sponsorship deal with the famous Ibadan based Nigeria Premier Football League side, Shooting Stars Sports Club. As part of its collaboration then, NairaBET bought a brand new bus for the club.
